Mapping a Drive to a Buffalo NAS in Windows


  1. Open NAS Navigator. If you do not have NAS Navigator installed, follow the directions here.
  2. Right-click on the NAS.

  3. Select "Browse Shares" from the pop-up menu.

  4. Right-click on the shared folder you want to map to a drive letter.

  5. Select "Map network drive..." from the pop-up menu.

  6. Click on the drop-down menu to change the drive letter if desired.

  7. Select the desired drive letter.

  8. Click Finish to map the drive.

  9. The mapped drive will now be listed in the drives assigned to this computer.

Note: If you are unable to access or map the NAS shared folder after the latest Windows Updates, follow these steps.
