You should follow these steps if your NAS detects a power supply error.
1. Identify the Failure: If there is a power supply failure, the Error LED will glow red. Check the WEBUI Dashboard or NAS Navigator2 to see the error message.
2. Identify the physical location of the failed power supply: If a power supply error occurs, you will hear the beep from the TeraStation. To stop beeping, press this Beep Off Button for the Power Supply Unit.
3. Disconnect the power cable from the back of the failed power supply. Note: Make sure you are disconnecting the correct power cable. If the power cable of the good power supply was disconnected your TeraStation will be powered-off ungracefully.
4. Release the locking tab, at the same time grasp the handle and slide the failed power supply straight out of the chassis.
5. Insert the replacement power supply.
6. Connect the power cable back to the replacement power supply.
