Prerequisites
- Know the IP address of your TeraStation from your local network. You can install Buffalo NAS Navigator to find it out.
- Make sure your NAS can connect to the internet.
1. Use the IP address of your TeraStation to logon to the TeraStation WebUI. 2. From Settings, click Remote Management Service. 3. Click Next to start. 4. Enter the hostname of the device and a brief description of its location, then click "Next".
5. Make sure the date and time settings match your local time, then click Next. To change the settings, click Set Date/Time and configure the desired time settings in the following page.
6. Select whether to allow Remote operations and Remote Settings to this NAS. Then click Next.
7. Enter the provided Device Registration Key and click "Next".
8. Device has been successfully registered to Remote Management Service. Click Close.
9. The device is now registered to Remote Management Service. From TeraStation Dashboard you can check the current Remote Management Service connection status.
