Use the recovery firmware file downloaded from the following URL.

1.Save the recovery firmware file in the root directory of a FAT32-formatted USB drive.

If the extracted recovery firmware file name is not "install.img", change the file name to "install.img".

2. Power off the Linkstation, connect the USB drive and then power the Linkstation back on.

Linkstation will restore the firmware automatically using the recovery firmware file saved on the USB drive.

If the error still presents after the process, please contact Buffalo Support for assistance.

Note：

・When the firmware is restored, all Linkstation settings will be initialized to the factory default. Data on the Linkstation will be kept.

・The file downloaded from the above URL is for recovering the damaged firmware and cannot be used to upgrade the firmware version.
