Creating a new shared folder on an LS520D

  1. Open the LinkStation GUI and click the settings icon in the quick launch panel.
  2. In the Settings window click the “Folder Setup” icon under “Services”.
  3. To create a new shared folder click the “Add” button.
  4. Give the folder a name and set the desired parameters for the folder. Once you have all the settings for the folder correct, click “OK”.
  5. You should get this message.
  6. Your new shared folder should now be displayed in the folders list and is now available for use.
