How to reset the configuration on an LS520D

This procedure will delete all data currently stored on the LinkStation!

  1. In the LinkStation GUI, click on the settings icon in the quick launch panel.
  2. In the settings panel click on the “Reset” icon under “System”.
  3. To reset all settings on the LinkStation to factory defaults click the “Initialize” button.
  4. You should receive this warning that all settings, including data, will be lost. If you want to continue, click “Yes”. ALL DATA WILL BE DELETED AT THIS POINT!
  5. The LinkStation will restart. Once the restart is complete the LinkStation will be returned to factory default settings and you will need to go through the initial setup process.
