Installing the Buffalo Network USB Navigator for Mac

  1. Download the installation file from the Buffalo downloads page available for your specific device. 
  2. Open the installation file from the downloads menu in the dock.

  3. Run the "Cosetup" file to install.

  4. You may get a warning dialogue. If it appears, click Open to continue.

  5. Click Continue.

  6. Click Continue to accept the license agreement.

  7. Click Agree to accept the license agreement and continue with the installation.

  8. Click Install to proceed with the installation.

  9. You may be advised that a restart will be necessary to complete the installation. Click Continue Installation.

  10. Once the installation finishes, click Restart to restart the system and finalize the installation.

  11. After the restart you will be asked to select the connection method to use. Please read the options and select the option that is best for your usage. For this document we are selecting "Manual Connection".

  12. The software will display available devices attached to Buffalo devices on the network. Click on the device you want to connect to.

  13. Once the device you want to use is selected, click the connect button (bottom, left) to connect to the device.

  14. The device is now connected. You may be prompted to install a driver if this is the first time you have connected to this device.
