Last Updated: 10/15/2024

  1. Log in to Settings for the TeraStation. You can access Settings by either entering the TeraStation's IP address into a web browser window or by using NAS Navigator.

  2. Navigate to the "File Sharing" tab and click the Folder Setup widget button to view all shared folders.

  5. Enable access restrictions, and then set access restrictions for each user or group. The options are "W/R" for write and read access, "/R" for read-only access, and "/" for no restrictions. A user or group with no restrictions will be given full access to the folder, and is the default option for all users and groups.

  6. Once you set the desired access levels, click OK. This will take you back to the properties page which should now display the correct access restrictions for each user or group.
